Had my first appointment with Katie Winfrey yesterday, and I immediately appreciated that she introduced herself as Katie and invited me to call her that as well. It felt very personal and instantly put me at ease. It was like having your best friend in the room during a full-body skin exam—which truly matters when you’re fully unclothed and being closely examined. She took her time, was educational, very friendly, and had wonderful bedside manner. She addressed a couple of areas of concern and even performed a biopsy, explaining things clearly along the way. Her nurse was equally personable and helpful, adding thoughtful commentary and doing a great job explaining each step as the biopsy procedure unfolded. Katie welcomed conversation about additional concerns I brought up and worked with me to create a plan moving forward, including product recommendations and a prescription. This was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office—especially in dermatology
