Certified physician assistant Katie Mehall has been providing Johnstown direct patient care under the supervision of Dr. Renee Mathur since 2009. In this time she has become highly experienced in diagnosing and creating customized treatment plans for a wide variety of skin concerns including acne, psoriasis, eczema and more. She specializes in performing full skin examinations for the prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer. She is excited to work under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Van Norman as the Johnstown clinic transitions to Forefront Dermatology.

Katie is an excellent PA. Katie conducts a thorough examination using her hands and eyes to make sure every potential problem is identified. I personally like this method as it insures that nothing is skipped. Katie explains all that is found, and asks if anything is causing pain or other symptoms. Katie offers possible treatment should problems arise. Katie is not quick to treat something that is not a problem. I totally trust Katie's knowledge and decision making. The visit was prompt, thorough and efficient.
