Kamal Chantal completed an undergraduate degree in athletic training at Longwood Univeristy in 2002. He went on to earn a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Lock Haven University in 2004. Following his training, he moved to upstate New York and worked in orthopaedic surgery for 2 years.

He moved back to his home state of Virginia in 2006 and worked in orthopaedic/spine surgery until joining RidgeView Dermatology in January of 2017.

Kamal and his wife Alexis have 2 children. They enjoy cooking, gardening, and horseback riding as a family. He also enjoys playing golf.

The folks at Ridgeview Dermatology, specifically Kamal Chantal, have done a great job with me. I get an annual check, and they are fast but thorough. Fortunately I have not had any major problems, but they give good advice for the more minor stuff too like dry skin, calluses, etc as well. Good people!
