Julia Massey Tauscher, MD, FAAD

Dr. Julia Tauscher is a board-certified dermatologist with a passion for cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. After working as a dermatologist in Raleigh, North Carolina, Dr. Tauscher has returned home to Mountain Brook to provide exceptional care to our patients. Dr. Tauscher earned her medical degree at the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and awarded “Best in Surgery.” She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Rochester where she served as Resident Cosmetics Chair. Dr. Tauscher has spoken at national conferences including the AAD and annual ASDS meeting. Her work has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology, and she has written book chapters on cosmetic and laser therapies for acne scarring. Dr. Tauscher is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Tauscher enjoys the outdoors, exercise, home cooking, jewelry, and traveling.
