Jenny Oakes Sobera, MD, FAAD

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Jenny Sobera is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Alabama Dermatology Society and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. A Mountain Brook native, Dr. Sobera received her Bachelor of Science degree at Auburn University and completed her medical training and residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude from both institutions.

Dr. Sobera diagnoses and treats a variety of skin conditions in adult and pediatric patients, providing thorough care for them through a calm and approachable demeanor. She is a board-certified dermatologist focusing on skin health. As an expert in living skin cells, Dr. Sobera addresses and treats conditions – whether medically necessary or cosmetic in nature – with surgical, laser and minimally invasive procedures that improve the health and appearance of skin. These procedures include the treatment of unwanted veins, benign growths, skin cancers, aging skin, excess hair, and unwanted fat. Through this process, Dr. Sobera uses a wide range of techniques, both corrective and preventative, in order to maximize the health, function, and appearance of your skin.
