Harold Lancer, MD

At the age of 7, Dr. Lancer accidentally fell into a vat of near boiling water, burning over 10% of his body. While the experience was unfortunate and painful, it was to be remembered as an event that changed his life forever. Throughout his recovery, Dr. Lancer became fascinated with the skin’s healing and regeneration process, spending countless hours creating his own kid-friendly “treatments” and testing them on his siblings. The experience not only led him to a career in dermatology, but also greatly influenced his belief in restoration as opposed to alteration as the most effective way to obtain healthy, radiant skin.

Dr. Lancer is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is affiliated with multiple medical organizations. He is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. After receiving his degree, Dr. Lancer moved to Boston and completed his graduate dermatology training at Harvard Medical School. He also completed the surgical program at the Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel and studied at multiple clinics in St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, London UK.

In 1983, Dr. Lancer opened his practice in Beverly Hills and has since grown to become a multi-award-winning, world-renowned dermatologist and pioneer, providing the best and most innovative skin care treatments and technologies. With his development of the Ancestry Scale, Dr. Lancer is able to provide personalized medical advice and treatment to each individual patient. In his clinic, he manages medical, surgical, malignant and non-malignant tumors as well as an array of cosmetic concerns.
