Eran Christopher Gwillim, MD

Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Gwillim earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed two years of general surgery training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago (Metropolitan Group) Residency in Chicago, IL. He then transitioned to dermatology, completing his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, Miami, FL, where he served as Chief of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.  

He later completed a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, California, where he trained under Dr. Hugh Greenway, joining the direct lineage of Dr. Frederic Mohs, the originator of Mohs Micrographic Surgery.  

Dr. Gwillim is also a Voluntary Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.  

Outside of work, he and his wife, Lillian, enjoy traveling, spending time with their extended families, and advocating for animal rescue. Their home includes a miniature dachshund, two adopted cats, and a rescued little brown bird.
