A Native of Maryland, Christine Hicks is a certified registered nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry prior to joining Ridgeview Dermatology in Lynchburg, Virginia. As a provider, Christine genuinely cares for the health and well-being of her patients, making sure that each patient leaves an appointment feeling that she fully listened to them and addressed all concerns. Christine enjoys practicing in small rural communities, developing a bond with her patients and ensuring patients have adequate access to dermatology services without having to drive long distances or wait weeks to be seen.

RidgeView Dermatology has a great team and uses innovative techniques/medications to treat patients. I would recommend them to anyone struggling with a chronic skin issue. Provider Hicks has essentially cured my chronic skin issue, which I thought was impossible before receiving treatment from her and her team. Christine Hicks goes above and beyond for her patients.

This was my second time ever to go to a dermatologist. My first time I was really scared. And Christine Hicks was the Doctor Who helped me. Today was my second time and she made it so wonderful. I wasn’t scared like the first time and she has a wonderful bedside manner. I was diagnosed with GAD 3 years ago after a bad head injury which makes doing certain things that some people can do with no problem a big issue for me and now I have more anxiety than a normal person. But just like the movie what about Bob … today was a giant baby step for me and Christine Hicks made it wonderful ! thank you Christine Hicks!!! Sincerely Patty.

Christine Hicks is AMAZING! Professional, kind and a listener. She does not walk into the office with ego and wanting to flaunt her Dr coat. She meets people where they are at, isn’t judgmental and make patients feel like she really cares that they feel better. Wish all drs were like her. She is obviously living her calling.
