My 90 yr old mother has seen the PA a few times. At least twice she has walked in and looked at a sore and just said, "Oh that's cancer". My mom worries that every sore she has is cancer and I would just appreciate if the providers were a little more sensitive in what they say and wait until it is confirmed by biopsy. I'm not saying the PA can't recognize it, I'm just saying not every patient needs to hear so bluntly.
