A native of Idaho, Dr. Eric Hanson is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatopathologist with experience as both a diagnostician and practicing dermatologist. He earned an undergraduate degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University and completed his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Hanson completed his dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been practicing with Forefront Dermatology since 2009.

After suffering from several misdiagnosis for a year, Dr. Hanson diagnosed my problem right away. He was respectful and made me feel comfortable all through the visit(s). His assistant, Hannah did as well. Best of all my condition is clearing up in a short time!

Dr. Hanson was very professional! He was very easy with my issue! Other doctors have hurt me trying to look at my wound but he didn't!I was extremely nervous going in due to previous experience but he was great and I left understanding exactly what steps were next!

He has excellent bed side manners. I like the fact he makes you feel SO relaxed. He answered any questions that I had and even asked personal questions as to my occupation. Which made me feel that he was thuror with his exam. He addressed any of my concerns. His assistant was excellent too. She did excellent prep work, telling me what to expect, the feeling that would occur and explanation of the defect was being removed. It made me feel like I was talking to the doctor.
