I realize this was a clean vs sterile procedure. But, clean refers to the procedure not the nurse/PA’s hands. Gloves are worn to keep from introducing germs, not just keeping their hands clean. The PA adjusted his seat with the gloves on. So I don’t think that was in keeping my wound clean. Also, the suture touched outside of the blue towels. Not acceptable to keeping the wound clean. I realize this was not a sterile procedure but these actions were not “clean”.
