Kathryn Harrison, MMS, PA-C

Kathryn is a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant at Asarch Center. Kathryn completed advanced training in dermatology through a didactic fellowship program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in 2018. The SDPA Diplomat Fellowship Program is the premier training for physician assistants working in Dermatology. After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007, she completed the Physician Assistant Program at Red Rocks Community College and Master of Medical Science Program at Saint Francis University in 2012.

Kathryn joined the Asarch Center in 2012. She performs routine skin exams, and treats patients for acute and chronic skin conditions, in office procedures, excisions, laser treatments and injections.

Kathryn published an article in 2022 in the Journal of Dermatology Physician Assistants (JDPA) entitled COVID-19: A New Etiology for Guttate Psoriasis. She also is a peer-reviewer for the JDPA. She served as president elect for the Colorado Society of Dermatology Professionals from 2017-2019. Kathryn worked as sub-investigator in several dermatology clinical research trials from 2012-2017. She also precepts physician assistant and nurse practitioner students. One of her particular interests is the management and treatment of acne vulgaris. Kathryn enjoys playing the piano, hiking, mountain biking, tent camping, downhill skiing and traveling the world.

Kathryn Harrison is very good and very thorough But they need to work on scheduling their appointments better everyone’s time should be respected and our time is important to us patients as well It’s hard when you are on time for your appointment and they are running 30 minutes behind!!☹️☹️☹️

Dr. Harrison is incredibly knowledgeable and very patient when listening to your concerns. She also does an excellent job treating whatever conditions you’re coming in with. I’ve had a series of lasers done for hard to fade scars and they have improved drastically. Dr. Harrison also helped me clear some hormonal acne I’ve been battling for a while now, which expensive dermatologists were unable to resolve. Thank you for all you do!
